This Advanced kit is made up of the LeftField 3 15mm LWS baseplate core, a lower ARRI-style dovetail adapter plate, a sliding top plate, a split VENICE riser for LeftField baseplates, right and left side plates, a D-style master handle, an Axl EVF mount base kit, and pairs of 4 and 12" titanium 15mm rods. All the plate components are made from durable aluminium.

Bright Tangerine 15mm LWS Baseplate for Sony VENICE & VENICE 2

Mount your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 and an attached riser to this 15mm LWS Baseplate from Bright Tangerine to ensure your camera is at the proper height for 15mm LWS rig setups. The baseplate is compatible with ARRI dovetail plates, and its quick release system can slide, lock, and vertically release the camera with ease.

Two 15mm LWS standard rod clamps secure in the front and rear of the baseplate. Multiple safety mechanisms prevent accidental releases for additional security with heavier camera setups. The baseplate's aluminium construction ensures a durable and lightweight design.

Bright Tangerine Split Riser for 15mm LWS Baseplate and Sony VENICE/VENICE 2

This Split Riser for 15mm LWS Baseplate from Bright Tangerine has upper and riser plates that attach to your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 and integrate the camera into the compatible 15mm LWS baseplate. Simply adjust the position of your camera on the plate for optimal balance before tightening the included screws. The upper plate secures directly to the bottom of your camera and can be used independently from the riser in gimbal applications for a low-profile form factor.

Threads on either side of the upper plate allow you to integrate Bright Tangerine side and top plates and form a rigid camera cage. The split riser is also dovetail and quick release compatible for easy transitioning from handheld to stabilized shooting.

Bright Tangerine Sliding Top Plate for Sony VENICE/VENICE 2

The Sliding Top Plate set from Bright Tangerine provides accessory mounting via a top-mounted 15mm rod support and a sliding, quick release top cheese plate for your Sony VENICE or VENICE 2 camera. This top plate kit is comprised of a sliding top plate, an ARRI-standard dovetail plate, and a 15mm LWS rod bracket.

Safe and Reliable

The top plate features multiple safety mechanisms for added peace of mind. The dovetails are secured in place using a 4mm Allen key, removing any levers that could get knocked while filming. A deadlock screw can also be engaged, fixing the dovetail in place for a completely rigid top plate.

Accessory Mounting

The top plate also features multiple 1/4"-20 and anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads for accessories, with fixing points for the side plates on each side. The vertical position of the front 15mm LWS rod support can be adjusted to 15mm LWS or low mode for use with EVF mounts and lens motors.

Attach this Side Plate from Bright Tangerine to the right side of your Sony VENICE 1 or 2 to expand its mounting capabilities. Multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads allow you to mount articulating arms or wireless transmitters onto the side of your camera. A single ARRI rosette mounting point can support a side handle and improve your grip on your rig.

Two locating screws secure the plate to the camera. The plate is designed to accommodate the Wooden Camera D-Box, which can distribute power from a V-mount battery to your camera. Its aluminium alloy design ensures a durable but lightweight construction.

Securely mount and adjust your Sony DVF-EL200 EVF onto a Sony cinema camera, such as the VENICE, F5, or F55, with this Axl EVF Mount Base Kit from Bright Tangerine. The lightweight mounting kit includes a crossbar, adjustable arm, a 15mm carriage mount, two 3" titanium Drumstix 15mm rods, and a mounting adapter for your EVF or monitor.

The mount features 3-axis adjustment, and the extension arm allows you to rotate the mount while the box-style crossbar secures the assembly so it doesn't flop down or move once it's set in place within the carriage mount. This pair of Bright Tangerine Drumstix 15mm Sterling Titanium Support Rods is extremely lightweight yet amazingly stiff, allowing you to add rod-mounted accessories to your rig with virtually no flex in the rods, something every owner, operator, assistant, and rental house will appreciate. Each 12" long support rod is extremely lightweight yet exhibits less flex than carbon fiber rods of the same length, and it is lighter than either steel or aluminium rods while being at least as stiff and strong. Made from titanium, the rods are corrosion resistant, and each is machined and ground flat to prevent binding as you mount accessories.

Each titanium rod is machined and ground flat to within a tolerance of 2 microns, which prevents accessories from binding when sliding on the rod. The strength, hardness, and machining tolerances of the rod eliminate the need for the time-honored tradition of spinning the support rod in the rod clamp when trying to build the camera package.

Each rod is extremely lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones or in handheld configurations.
